Sale details
I bought 3 copies of this doujinshi at the most recent Comiket (74), at 400Yen each, having come to know about it only a few months back. Though it was released in 2001, the artist had some (or all her leftover) copies for sale at her table. Needless to say I was delighted; it saved me a hell lot of money ordering it online via her webpage. About 8-9 copies were on sale. Not sure if thats all of them.

Contents & opinions
Its nice to see a non-hentai fan book on BS6 now and then, and one that is well illustrated. Pigeon Wharf’s illustrations are clean, cute and as good as the cover art. Most of the book consists of single/double pages depicting parody/alternate versions of scenes that happened in the OVA, as well as in the 2 BS6 videogames. While the principle character is Hayami, many other characters are also featured. Nothing explicit, but a light touch of Yaoi (Hayami and Katsuma) here and there. Forgivable really, since the artist is a girl. 🙂

Artist info & availability
As of August 2008, Pigeon Wharf is still selling some of her leftover copies on her webpage, but I’m pretty sure there aren’t that many left, unless she reprints them. Payment method as I can tell is via bank draft/wire only, and I highly doubt she’ll do international shipping. I’m willing to sell one of mine, but please enquire privately through email if you’re interested. And heads up: It won’t be cheap.

  1. What are some of the parody/alternate scenes depicted?

  2. Hi King Lear,

Some scenes include the conversation between Hayami and Kino during EP1, where he’s rubbing his bite mark. Kino looks pissed. Another is the beach scene between Zorndyke and Amonyushuu. Not sure what the new conversation is about though.

For the Mutio fans: Yes she does appear, but only on one page (single comic).

Its quite hard to explain in words. I’ll scan a page or two and put it up here soon 🙂

  3. In case anyone is interested, I found Pigeon Wharf’s homepage:

she has some interesting blue sub 6 fanart:
